The Rainbow Tree was painted during the first lockdown as a response to lift the spirits of the hospital staff at The Royal Glamorgan Hospital in Llantrisant. The Artist took inspiration from her walks during lockdown from her house to her Mother's house. This tree became a place of healing as she came to terms with the loss of her Mother at the start of the Pandemic and also as a symbol of Mother Nature helping to share the love and positivity that is felt when time is spent in the nature.
This painting was then adapted as a Mural for the hospital walls to spread some 'moments of sunshine to the passing staff and visitors who had been through so much during this time.
