COMMISSIONS
 

As an Artist I respond to my creative intuition.  I begin with the seed of an idea which comes usually while in nature, flowing like water moving through the waves of inspiration and purpose.  When responding to a commission I work to specifications to fulfil the desired outcome while still staying true to my core principles as an Artist.   

I have worked on several commissions from the NHS which have been funded by the Arts Council of Wales.  These have been initiated through the emphasis the Health board now have to integrate Art and Wellbeing for patients and staff alike.  As a result of this I created a Wellbeing Tree Mural and 3 COVID Memorial Gardens at: The Princess of Wales Hospital, Bridgend; The Royal Glamorgan Hospital, Pontyclun and Prince Charles Hospital, Merthyr Tydfil. There are 3 more Community Gardens in Wales created drawing inspiration from my 3 gardens which I have overseen  from graduate ceramic Artist Shraddha Joshi. 

      Art heals as it surpasses the blocks which restrict, confine and dictate our being.
